At the meeting 19th May 2026 it was resolved to appoint Cllrs Marshall, McDonald-Walker, Beynon and Vellam to a working group to consider the implications of the emerging WNC Local Plan and make recommendations to Council, including recommendations regarding the next stages required to shape the Neighbourhood Plan to integrate with the Local Plan. The working group shall conclude upon adoption of the WNC Local Plan.

DDC issued a notice which was produced to respond to the factual inaccuracies of publication that had been circulated in Spratton village and placed on DDC’S website.
At its meeting of Full Council on 18th May Daventry District Council agreed that the Spratton Neighbourhood Development Plan, as modified by the examiners recommendations, should proceed to referendum. This will take place on Thursday 21st July 2016.
